The Lorax

I was not really expecting to enjoy the movie very much. But, while watching it I began to enjoy what the whole movie was essentially about. It was entertaining and very inspirational for everyone not just for the younger children. I think that the main point of all of us watching the movie is that we see how the movie relates to science. At first I didn't really understand why we had to watch the movie because I didn't think it had anything to do with physics or science in general. However, after watching the movie I now know that part of the reason why we were told to watch it is because of what is said and shown about ecosystems and trees mostly. From the movie I learned that if one important part of an ecosystem is destroyed or taken away, the system doesn't work as well or cannot function at all. For example, when the Once-ler cut down all the trees, the animals/creatures that once lived there were not able to live there anymore because they wouldn't be able to survive. I also think we were told to watch this movie to show us that it really does only take one person or a group of people to make a change that is needed. Maybe just like Ted, the boy in the movie, we will all find a good idea and become inspired by that certain idea to make Kamehameha a better place to be.
