The Lorax

The movie The Lorax relates to our project in many ways. In the movie, the Lorax left the Once-ler a word. The word was unless. That word symbolizes someone, just one person’s care for a problem. That person is Ted. The Once-ler said because Ted cared about the trees, the problem will get better. This relates to our project because, as a group, if we try and solve a problem at Kamehameha, the problem might not improve instantly but will get better. The Once-ler also said, “Unless someone like you cares an awful lot nothing is going to get better.” If Kamehameha students want things in our school to be better then we have to better those things ourselves. I thought I was not going to enjoy this movie but it turned out pretty alright. The movie has a good meaning behind it and once again Dr. Seuss is proven to be a genius.
