Today I saw The Lorax. I thought it was a super good and cute movie!! Anyways, what stuck with me throughout the movie was the quote: "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not." Dr. Seuss uses the quote many times in the movie. This made me connect the movie to what we will be working on for the rest of the quarter in physics. We need more people to understand the things we want to be fixed, and with the help of many, it can be done. But, if you don't let others know what the problem is, then they will never know and won't care as much as you do, and then nothing will be accomplished. I really like this quote because it is true, and for things to get better, it helps with more people putting in effort. Like the boy in the movie, he let everyone know about trees and what good use it can be put to, and after letting everyone know, they all had a change in heart. There are many problems out there. We just need to find them and let people know about them so we can make a change and live in a better environment.
